We got inspired by recent post on a blog called 'A bit of everything', which is in Norwegian, but you can translate it to any language with little help from Google gadget on the blog (our Chrome browser is setup to translate to English from any other language, which you can also do). For this simple flower arrangement we used fern and some flowers from our outside flowers.
If you have some candlelight holders you can try to wrap fern around the outline and fill it with water and put a little candle on top.
You can either double stack them or put them next to each other. For this one we left one of the candle light holders without a candle.
You can fill the vases with the fern or keep them clean and simple.
